Want a refund or to withdraw? Refunds and withdrawal

The service

ComputerCaller is a service that lets you use your Android phone's calls, messages, and notifications from a browser. You install the ComputerCaller Android app on your phone, sign in on the web, and pair the two.

Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • One person per account. Don't share logins.
  • We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam, harassment, use to impersonate others, illegal activity).

Free plan, subscription and cancellation

  • Who you buy from. Paid subscriptions are sold by Stripe, through its Link service, as the reseller and merchant of record for ComputerCaller. At checkout and on your receipts this shows as "Sold through Link", and your card statement shows "LINK.COM*". Link takes your payment, charges any VAT or sales tax, sends your receipts and invoices, and handles payment questions, refunds and disputes. The payment terms shown at checkout apply to the purchase. ComputerCaller provides the service, and these terms apply to how you use it. We are responsible for the service working as described.
  • Price. The price is the one shown on our pricing page and at checkout at the time you buy, including any taxes that apply. Checkout may show it in your local currency. You see it before you pay.
  • Free plan. You can use ComputerCaller on the Free plan at no cost and without a time limit. The Free plan includes a monthly number of calls and texts from your computer, shown on our pricing page. A call counts when you place it, or answer an incoming call, from the web app or the browser extension. A text counts when you send or reply to a text from your computer, including a reply to a text notification from your phone's messaging app. Calls and texts made on your phone itself are never counted or limited.
  • Monthly limits. Free plan limits reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 UTC. Unused calls or texts don't carry over.
  • When you reach a limit. Until the next reset, the web app and extension won't do what that limit covers (placing or answering calls, or sending texts) and offer you a subscription instead. Incoming calls still show, new messages are still displayed, and your phone keeps calling and texting normally. Nothing is charged, and you are never moved to a paid plan unless you subscribe yourself.
  • What the Free plan doesn't include. Sending files between your phone and computer, in either direction, needs a paid subscription. The other differences are shown on our pricing page.
  • Changes to the Free plan. We may change what the Free plan includes, for example because of costs, misuse, or changes to the service. If a change reduces what you get, we will tell you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect. You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time, at no cost.
  • When a paid subscription ends. If your subscription ends (you cancel, it isn't renewed, or you withdraw), your account moves to the Free plan at the end of the period you paid for, or straight away if you withdraw. Your account and settings stay; the Free plan limits apply from then on. If you started a free trial before the Free plan was introduced, it runs to its end and then moves to the Free plan.
  • Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. New subscriptions are charged the price shown at checkout. If we change the price of your existing subscription, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal the new price applies to. You can cancel before that renewal at no cost; if you don't, the new price applies from that renewal.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in the app under Settings > Subscription, or in your Link account at link.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
  • Earlier Whop subscriptions. If you subscribed through Whop, before we moved payments to Stripe, manage that subscription in your Whop account; Whop's terms (whop.com/tos) apply to those payments.

Free trial

Free trial. We may offer a paid plan with a free trial. Before you start, the page where you start the trial shows how long it lasts, the price after it and the date of the first charge, and Stripe's checkout shows them again. You need a card to start a free trial. When the trial ends, your subscription starts automatically and your card is charged the price shown. It is then charged again each period until you cancel. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged, you keep the paid features until the trial ends, and your account then moves to the Free plan. We email you before the first charge. If you choose to upgrade during your free trial, your trial ends immediately and you are charged the full plan price at that time; your billing period starts on that date.

One free trial per person. Each account can have one free trial. You can't start another free trial on an account, or with an email address, that has already had a free trial or a paid subscription. This does not affect your right of withdrawal.

Refunds and withdrawal

  • Right of withdrawal. You may withdraw within 14 days of starting your paid subscription. The Free plan costs nothing, and you can stop using it at any time.
  • Starting immediately. When you subscribe, you ask us to start right away. Because you ask us to start immediately, you pay for the time used: if you withdraw after being charged, we refund only the unused part of that period.
  • How to withdraw. Contact Link support at support.link.com about your ComputerCaller order, or email support@computercaller.com from the address on your account. Any clear statement that you want to withdraw is enough, and you don't need to give a reason. Either route works: Link or we will process your refund.
  • Refunds. Refunds go back to the card or payment method you paid with, through Link, and include any tax you paid. Apart from the right of withdrawal above, refunds for partial periods are not given automatically. If something went wrong with the service, write to us at support@computercaller.com or to Link support. We look at every request in good faith, and Link may also refund a payment under its own rules. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law of your country.

What you may not do

  • Use the service to send spam, harass anyone, or impersonate others.
  • Use it to do anything illegal where you live or where the people you contact live.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to compromise the service or other users' sessions.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without written permission.

Availability

We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantees during early access. Scheduled maintenance happens occasionally. We'll try to notify in advance for anything significant.

Liability

The service is provided "as is". We're not liable for missed calls, missed messages, delayed notifications, or any indirect / consequential damages arising from using the service. Mobile carriers, your phone OS, and network conditions all affect behavior beyond our control.

Changes

We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. If a change is material and to your disadvantage, we will tell you by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before it takes effect (30 days for price changes, see above). If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect and you won't be charged under the new terms. Other changes apply from the date shown at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country. We can only bring a claim against you in the courts of the country where you live.
